Effective Date: 21 July 2026
Last Updated: 21 July 2026
1. About these Terms
These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to https://www.zuva.life/ and your enquiry, registration, purchase or participation in Services offered under the Zuva Life brand by iZuv Solutions Private Limited, having its registered office at at C-501, Krishvi Dhavala, Doddakanneli Road, Bangalore-560035, hence mentioned as “Zuva”, “we’’,’’us’’.
These Terms are an electronic record under the Information Technology Act, 2000 and applicable rules. They do not require a physical or digital signature. By using the website, submitting a form, making a payment, accepting a proposal or participating in a Service, you acknowledge that you have read and agreed to these Terms and the Privacy Policy.
A registration page, proposal, order form, invoice, confirmation email, participant agreement or other terms issued for a specific Service may contain additional conditions. If there is a conflict, the specific written conditions for that Service will prevail over these general Terms to the extent of the conflict. Corporate programmes governed by a separately signed agreement will be subject to that agreement.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into a binding contract under Indian law to purchase or independently participate in a Service, unless a specific Service expressly permits younger participants with appropriate parent or guardian consent. By registering, you represent that the information you provide is accurate and that you are legally eligible to participate.
3. Our Services
Zuva Life may offer free or paid Services, including:
-
In-person or online workshops, talks, sharing circles and learning experiences.
-
Multi-session cohort journeys, guided programmes and one-to-one navigation conversations.
-
Retreats, residential experiences and activities involving venues, accommodation, meals or travel-linked arrangements.
-
Community conversations, member or participant groups, newsletters, resources and follow-up engagement.
-
Corporate programmes, collaborations and co-created experiences.
-
Content relating to midlife transitions, work, contribution, learning, wellbeing, relationships, money and longer lives.
The description, inclusions, exclusions, dates, venue, format, facilitators, fees and applicable cancellation terms for a Service will be stated on the relevant page, proposal or confirmation. We may reasonably update a Service before or during delivery where necessary to preserve quality, safety or feasibility.
4. Enquiries, applications and registration
-
Submitting an enquiry or application does not guarantee a place. Some Services may involve a discovery conversation, suitability check, waitlist or limited capacity.
-
A place is confirmed only when we issue written confirmation and, for a paid Service, receive the required payment or deposit.
-
You must provide complete and accurate information and promptly tell us about relevant changes.
-
Registrations are personal and may not be resold. A transfer to another eligible participant is permitted only with our prior written approval and subject to the specific Service terms.
-
Where an employer, sponsor or another person registers or pays for you, you remain bound by participant-facing provisions of these Terms
5. Fees, taxes and payment
-
Fees and applicable taxes will be displayed or communicated before payment. Unless stated otherwise, fees are payable in Indian Rupees.
-
Payment may be collected through a payment gateway, bank transfer, UPI, invoice or another approved method. Third-party payment providers may apply their own terms.
-
You are responsible for providing accurate billing information and paying by the stated due date. A place may be released if payment is not received in time.
-
We may correct an obvious pricing error before confirmation. We will not increase the confirmed fee for a Service after full payment unless you request an additional service or expressly agree to the change.
6. Cancellations, transfers and refunds
The cancellation, transfer and refund policy communicated for a specific Service through its registration page, payment link, proposal, invoice or confirmation will form part of these Terms. In the event of any inconsistency, the policy communicated for that specific Service will prevail.
Cancellation requests will therefore be considered only in exceptional circumstances and must be submitted to us in writing.
Where we approve a cancellation request, we may, at our discretion and subject to availability:
-
permit a one-time transfer of the registration to another eligible participant;
-
offer a full or partial credit towards another eligible Zuva Life Service within a specified period; or
-
offer such other accommodation as we consider reasonable in the circumstances.
Any credit or other accommodation offered may be reduced by payment-gateway charges and costs already committed or paid by Zuva Life. Approval of one cancellation request does not create an obligation to approve the same or a similar request in the future.
Non-attendance, late arrival, early departure, or inability to participate in all or part of a Service will not ordinarily qualify for a refund, transfer or credit.
Nothing in this section limits any rights available to you under applicable law.
7. Changes or cancellation by Zuva Life
We may change the facilitator, session sequence, venue, format, timing or reasonable details of a Service where necessary because of availability, safety, participant needs, force majeure or circumstances beyond our control. We will endeavour to preserve the essential nature and value of the Service and provide reasonable notice.
If we cancel a paid Service and do not offer a suitable rescheduled date, you may choose a credit or refund of the amount paid to us for the cancelled portion. Unless expressly agreed otherwise, our responsibility does not extend to personal travel, accommodation, leave, visa or other incidental costs incurred by you.
8. Participant responsibilities and conduct
Zuva experiences depend on trust, respect and active participation. You agree to:
-
Treat participants, facilitators, staff, partners and venue teams respectfully and not engage in harassment, discrimination, intimidation, abuse, disruption or unsafe conduct.
-
Follow reasonable safety, venue, technology and facilitation instructions.
-
Respect boundaries and not pressure another participant to disclose personal information.
-
Not photograph, record, livestream or distribute another person’s contribution without permission.
-
Not solicit, advertise, recruit, sell services or collect participant contact details within a Zuva group without our prior approval and the individual’s consent.
-
Not attend an in-person experience while affected by a contagious illness or in a condition that creates a material safety risk to yourself or others.
-
Use programme materials and community spaces only for lawful, personal and non-commercial purposes.
We may issue a warning, restrict participation, remove a person from a session or group, or terminate access without refund where conduct is unsafe, unlawful, seriously disruptive, abusive or in material breach of these Terms. We will act reasonably in the circumstances.
9. Confidentiality in facilitated groups
Participants may share personal experiences, concerns and reflections. You agree not to identify another participant or repeat, publish, record or circulate their personal story outside the group without their express permission. You may discuss your own learning and experience, provided you do not reveal another person’s identity or confidential information.
Zuva Life will set and reinforce group norms, but we cannot guarantee that every participant will comply. Please exercise judgment about what you choose to share. This clause does not prevent a person from seeking help or making a disclosure where there is a genuine risk of harm, safeguarding concern, legal obligation or need to report unlawful conduct.
10. Health, wellbeing and physical participation
Some Services may include movement, breathwork, yoga, walking, physical activity, wellbeing discussion or information from health professionals. Unless expressly stated and separately contracted, Zuva Life does not provide medical diagnosis, treatment, psychotherapy or emergency healthcare.
-
You are responsible for deciding whether an activity is appropriate for you and for obtaining medical advice where needed.
-
You must inform us or the facilitator of relevant accessibility needs, allergies or safety concerns where necessary for participation, while sharing only the information reasonably required.
-
You should participate at your own pace and stop an activity if you feel pain, dizziness, distress or discomfort.
-
In an emergency, you authorise us to contact your emergency contact and seek reasonable medical assistance. You remain responsible for medical and related costs unless applicable law provides otherwise.
11. Educational information and professional advice
Zuva Services are primarily educational, reflective and developmental. Information shared by Zuva Life, a facilitator or another participant is general and may not account for your individual circumstances. Participation does not by itself create a doctor-patient, therapist-client, lawyer-client, tax adviser-client, investment adviser-client, employment adviserclient or other fiduciary relationship.
In particular, sessions relating to money, investments, tax, estate planning, health, career or legal matters are not a substitute for personalised advice. Personalised regulated advice may be provided only under a separate engagement with an appropriately qualified or registered professional. You remain responsible for obtaining independent advice and for decisions you make.
12. Facilitators, partners and third parties
We work with independent facilitators, speakers, coaches, advisers, co-hosts, venues and service providers. We select collaborators in good faith and remain responsible for our own contractual obligations. A third party may also be responsible for their professional conduct, advice, facilities or separately supplied services.
A facilitator’s participation in a Zuva Service does not authorise them to use participant data for unrelated marketing or to create a separate client relationship without your consent. If you independently engage a facilitator or provider after a Service, that engagement is between you and the provider and may be subject to separate terms.
13. Retreats, travel and accommodation
-
Unless the Service description states otherwise, you are responsible for travel to and from the venue, travel insurance, personal insurance, visas, medicines and personal expenses.
-
Accommodation, meals, transport and venue services may be provided by third parties and may be subject to reasonable property or provider rules.
-
You must disclose dietary or accessibility needs by the stated deadline. We will make reasonable efforts but cannot guarantee that every request can be accommodated.
-
Room allocation, occupancy, check-in and check-out are governed by the specific retreat details. Additional costs arising from a participant’s changes, damage or personal requirements may be payable by that participant.
14. Online sessions and technology
For online Services, you are responsible for a suitable device, internet connection and private environment. We are not responsible for interruptions caused by your equipment, connection or a third-party platform. We will make reasonable efforts to address material disruption within our control and may reschedule or provide an alternative where appropriate.
Access links and recordings, where provided, are personal and must not be shared, copied, downloaded or distributed except as expressly permitted.
15. Photographs, recordings and testimonials
We may notify participants that an event will be photographed or recorded. We will provide a reasonable way to opt out of identifiable marketing use. Your attendance alone will not be treated as permission to use a close-up image, attributed quotation, personal story or testimonial for marketing where separate consent is reasonably required.
You retain ownership of your own story, journal and personal reflections. If you submit a testimonial, article, photograph or other content specifically for publication, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to edit for length and clarity and use it for the stated purpose, subject to any agreed attribution and your right to withdraw consent for future use.
16. Intellectual property and programme materials
The Zuva Life name, logos, website, programme structures, facilitator guides, slides, worksheets, videos, recordings, designs, text and other materials are owned by or licensed to us or the relevant creator and are protected by intellectual property law.
We grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use materials supplied to you for your own learning. You may not reproduce, sell, teach from, publish, upload, commercially exploit or create derivative programmes from those materials without written permission. This restriction does not prevent you from applying ideas to your own life or work or retaining your completed personal exercises.
17. Community and messaging groups
We may create WhatsApp or similar groups for logistics, peer connection or follow-up. Joining a group may make your name, profile image and mobile number visible to other members under the platform’s settings. Participation is optional unless the group is the only reasonable channel for an essential operational update, in which case we will offer an alternative on request where practicable.
Group members must follow the conduct, confidentiality and non-solicitation expectations in these Terms. Zuva Life may moderate or close a group and remove members who breach those expectations.
18. Website use and prohibited activity
You may not:
-
Use the website or Services for an unlawful, fraudulent or harmful purpose.
-
Attempt unauthorised access, interfere with security, introduce malicious code, scrape data or overload the website.
-
Impersonate another person, provide materially false information or infringe intellectual property, privacy or other rights.
-
Use our name, materials, participant information or Services to imply an endorsement, partnership or affiliation that we have not authorised.
-
Resell access, copy participant lists or use information obtained through Zuva Life for unsolicited marketing.
19. No guaranteed outcome
We will deliver Services with reasonable care and skill and describe them honestly. However, reflection, learning, wellbeing, relationships, career, financial confidence and life transitions depend on many personal and external factors. We do not promise a particular personal, professional, health, financial, employment, investment or business outcome.
20. Disclaimers
The website and free content are provided on an “as available” basis. While we take reasonable care, we do not warrant that all content will always be complete, current, uninterrupted or error-free. Third-party views expressed in a session are those of the speaker unless expressly adopted by Zuva Life.
Nothing in these Terms excludes any warranty, duty or consumer right that cannot lawfully be excluded. Any disclaimer applies only to the fullest extent permitted by law.
21. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Zuva Life will not be liable for indirect, special, incidental or consequential loss, loss of profit, loss of opportunity or loss arising from a decision made in reliance on general educational content, except where such exclusion is prohibited by law.
Our aggregate liability arising from a specific paid Service will not exceed the fee actually paid to us for that Service. This cap does not apply to liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including liability arising from fraud, wilful misconduct, or personal injury caused by negligence where the law does not permit limitation.
You are responsible for personal belongings and valuables at an event, subject to any liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
22. Indemnity
You agree to compensate the Company and its officers, employees and contractors for direct losses, reasonable costs and third-party claims arising from your unlawful conduct, willful breach of these Terms, infringement of another person’s rights, or unauthorised commercial use of our materials. This clause does not require you to indemnify us for our own negligence, breach or unlawful conduct.
23. Force majeure
Neither party will be responsible for delay or failure caused by events reasonably beyond its control, including severe weather, natural disaster, epidemic, government restriction, civil disturbance, transport disruption, venue closure, widespread technology failure or illness affecting an essential facilitator. We will take reasonable steps to mitigate the effect and may reschedule, change format, provide credit or refund the recoverable amount, taking account of third-party costs and the specific Service terms.
24. Suspension and termination
We may suspend website access, close a community space or discontinue a Service or feature. We may terminate a participant’s access for material breach, non-payment, unlawful activity, serious misconduct or safety risk. Provisions intended to survive termination, including confidentiality, intellectual property, disclaimers, liability, payment obligations and dispute provisions, will continue to apply.
25. Privacy
Our collection and use of personal data is governed by the Privacy Policy. By providing personal data, you confirm that the information is accurate and that, where you provide data about another person such as an emergency contact or sponsored participant, you are authorised to do so and have informed them as appropriate.
26. Complaints and grievance redressal
Please first contact us at info@zuva.life with your name, the relevant Service, the issue and the resolution sought. We will acknowledge the complaint and use reasonable efforts to resolve it promptly. Privacy complaints may also be addressed under the Privacy Policy.
Nothing in these Terms restricts your right to approach an appropriate consumer commission, regulator, court or statutory authority where available under applicable law.
27. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. The parties will first attempt in good faith to resolve a dispute through written discussion. Subject to mandatory consumer and other statutory jurisdiction, courts in Bengaluru, Karnataka will have jurisdiction over disputes arising from these Terms or the Services.
28. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The revised Terms will apply from the stated effective date. A material change will not retrospectively reduce your confirmed rights for a paid Service without your agreement, except where the change is required by law or necessary for safety.
29. General provisions
-
If a provision is held invalid or unenforceable, it will be limited to the minimum extent necessary and the remaining provisions will continue.
-
A delay in enforcing a right is not a waiver of that right.
-
You may not assign your rights or obligations without our written consent. We may assign these Terms as part of a genuine corporate restructuring, financing or transfer of business, subject to applicable law.
-
These Terms, the Privacy Policy and the specific written terms for a Service constitute the agreement relating to that Service.
